House of Flow Community Guidelines
We at House of Flow strive to provide a safe, open environment for our members to express themselves in both our physical and digital spaces. Our Community Guidelines outline what we do and don’t accept, both in House of Flow and online, because creating positive and inclusive settings is our top focus.
They define our mutual responsibilities in relation to the use of our facilities and digital properties. We are dedicated to these guidelines, and we hope you are also.
These guidelines are in addition to our Membership Terms + Conditions. Breaching our Community Guidelines may result in expulsion from the premises, membership being suspended or terminated, or other restrictions.
OUR COMMUNITY GUIDELINES
Inappropriate Content
We do not allow any content that shows, depicts, or describes nudity, sexual acts, the offering of sexual services, sexual arousal, or sexual objectification.
Intellectual Property + Data Protection
We ask that you ensure you have the necessary rights and consents (including any third-party intellectual property and proprietary rights) to create content in our physical and digital properties, as well as the necessary rights and consents for both you and us to share the content on your or our channels. If you include any other people in your content, please make sure they are at least 18 years old and that you have their permission to include their personal information and/or image.
We ask that you make certain that any content you produce, connections you make, or conversations you have do not in any way harm, defame, or damage the House of Flow brand.
Illegal Content + Behaviour
We do not permit support, praise or promotion of political or religious agendas, terrorism, organised crime or hate groups. We also do not permit the trade or offer of firearms, drugs or offensive weapons. We also strictly prohibit other illegal behaviour, communications or content in our physical or digital properties.
Hate Speech, Bullying + Abuse
Threats of violence, hateful, disparaging, or otherwise offensive language or behaviour, as well as the targeting of specific individuals, are not permitted. Attacks or mistreatment based on race, ethnicity, national origin, sex, gender, gender expression, sexual orientation, religion, incapacity, or illness are not tolerated.
Children
House of Flow is designed for adults, but aims to be family-friendly. Please be considerate of other guests and members when you bring children. Please remember that your children are your responsibility at all times when present at House of Flow, and ensure they are not left unattended at any time.
Food + Beverages
Please refrain from bringing any outside food or beverages to any House, unless medically necessary.
Event Booking + Maintenance
We may at times close all or part of the premises to our members and guests for private events or for necessary maintenance, repair or redecoration work. Where we close part of House of Flow for private events, please honour and respect the privacy of all private events occurring in the premises and refrain from communicating any information about the event to third parties in any medium. Where all or part of the House is closed for maintenance, repair or redecoration work, or where we need to withdraw facilities or services because we consider that they may pose a risk to the health or safety of our members, guests or staff, or that they are detrimental to the business, we will seek to ensure that any such area, facility or service is reinstated as soon as practical.
House Of Flow Events
We love to hear what our members and guests get up to at House of Flow. While you are a member or a guest we may ask you to give your views of, and experiences at House of Flow. We may also film, video or photograph our member events and activities for use in our membership programs, as well as advertising, promotions, public relations, and other commercial/business purposes. If you take part in these interviews or events, you agree to us using your name, image and limited other information. You also consent to us publishing any materials produced by, or for, us for any purpose without your further consent, and you waive your right to receive any payment from us in connection with such publication.
Accidents + Injuries
We want all our members and guests to relax and enjoy the activities and facilities available at House of Flow in safety. Members and guests agree to observe House of Flow rules and any signs published or displayed at any time; and to take reasonable precautions when travelling around the premises or using the facilities. If a member or guest has an accident or suffers any injury at, or in the vicinity of, the House, please report this as soon as possible to a member of staff and, in any event, within 24 hours of the incident. As well as wanting to check on a member or guest’s wellbeing, this information is needed in order to help us comply with our health and safety obligations and for insurance purposes.
Entering + Leaving House Of Flow
All members and their guests are asked to respect our nearby residents by being quiet when entering or leaving the House premises, or while in the surrounding area.
Animals
No animals will be allowed in the House except for legally recognized and certified service dogs.
CCTV
Members and their guests should be aware that for safety reasons, we use CCTV.
Smoking Policy
All members and their guests are obligated to abide by the House’s smoking policy, and to all applicable no-smoking governmental laws, rules and regulations. No smoking (including e-cigarettes and vapes) is allowed inside the House at any time. House of Flow reserves the right to prohibit or limit smoking in any area of the premises at any time at its sole and absolute discretion.
Disciplinary Procedure
Conduct by a member or guest that is prejudicial to the reputation and character of House of Flow may result in suspension or expulsion of such member or guest. Such conduct may include inappropriate, violent or abusive behavior, or the communication of information concerning House of Flow affairs, members or our guests to the media. An expelled member may not return to House of Flow as a guest. A refund of the expelled member’s subscription will be at the discretion of House of Flow. Any member or members who willfully remove, damage or destroy any property belonging to House of Flow, or to members or guests on the premises, will be liable to expulsion and/or suspension or termination of their membership.
Rights + Privileges of Membership
A member shall be entitled to all the rights and privileges of the House granted to a person in his or her capacity as a member and shall be bound by these rules, but shall have no proprietary rights in any of the premises or in respect of property of House of Flow.
House Of Flow Trademark Rights
Members and their guests shall not use the names, logos, colors, trademarks, service marks, photographs, trade dress, or other identifying features of House of Flow and its affiliates (the ‘House of Flow Marks’) without obtaining the specific prior written approval of House of Flow as to the specific use. You hereby expressly recognize that the House of Flow Marks are the valid, unique and exclusive property of House of Flow, its parent, affiliates and/or subsidiaries. Members and their guests may not produce, use or create, or authorize others to produce, use or create, the House of Flow Marks for any purpose whatsoever, including, but not limited to, in any communications, marketing, advertising or other promotional materials (including, but not limited to, brochures, flyers, invitations and e-mail messages) that utilize the House of Flow Marks without House of Flow’s prior written consent.
